Burgess Hill always feels like a proper community town to me. Everyone seems to know everyone, and word travels fast. More than one of my bookings here has come from a mum who saw her friend's child walk out of a party with a tiger face.

I've recently been out at Macs Farm near Ditchling, just down the road, and I love that you can be at a town-centre birthday in the morning and out under the South Downs by the afternoon.
